#Supreme commander 2 build order upgrade
they have the worst t2 PD by far, but if your deadset on turtling, they can use monkey lords as very effective ghetto t4 PD (they have the added benefit of being able to move), layering them behind shields and building T3 AA to support against intensive Air raids, using hive spam to upgrade shields to refresh them against the constant volleys of bombers. they aren't as good as normal shields but every time you upgrade them they renew how much damage they can withstand, so with micro you can get allot of mile-age out of using your build power to quickly upgrade shield gens. Other suggestions might be using cybran shields. if you tend to layer defenses then the UEF also have some of the best t2 artillery, so making a artillery bank to soften units up for your ravagers isn't out of the question I think it could be possible to have a novax within 20 minutes. The aoen are tempting, because if you can get a para online, you basically win, but I think it's a bit of a trap, because the para is such a far off unit, and then once you actually do build it your stuck with a giant super nuke in your base.(also the first thing someone who builds a para should do is immediately make a second para, somewhere far off from your base) also don't underestimate using walls at the border of your no rush just to slow down those land invasions just that little bit more. if you can get a few novax satellites up you can stem the swarms of unrelenting units and use them to pick off the AI's mex's very easily. UEF also have the novax, and while allot of people seem to think it's a bad unit, it actually has allot of benefits that t3 arty doesn't like for instance being much cheaper, being perfectly accurate, less wasted DPS, giving you intel, can be used more effectively on units etc. aeon are not the faction I think of when it comes to turtling, although they aren't necessarily bad at it. sera has the best T3 shields, the most effecient t2 PD, and the best t3 AA, and the UEF has all around highest health units, lots of different unique shielding options, and the only t3 land PD. my best advice is to play sera or UEF as those are the 2 best factions for being defensive and turtling. but we'll make the best out of your situation since I can relate. the AI's get insanely big eco boosts and have perfect APM. Honestly playing no-rush might actually be making your job harder. The right way is the one you enjoy the most

It's not a perfect build order by any means, but the FAF replay ID is 11808046 if you're interested.ĭon't let anyone tell you the "right" way to play the game.

Aside from that, just use the standard mex progression of T1 > T2 > T2 surrounded by storage > T3 surrounded by storage > T3 surrounded by storage surrounded by T2 mass fabs > RAS SACUs.ĭoing some quick testing, on Fields of Isis I was able to get to 208 mass income with most of my base shielded, a nuke def, and a few SAMs before the timer expired. The most important thing is probably to grab any and all reclaim in range as soon as possible. It's hard to give general advice since there are so many variables, and it highly depends on the map. With a 20 minute no rush, no build order is going to give you an economy anywhere near what an AIx can come up with in the same amount of time. In my limited experience fighting against AIx, success mostly relies on fighting them as early as possible and containing them so they can't expand their eco (as much). Well first and foremost, I think you're fighting a losing battle here.
